WINSON AND NEWTON GENERAL PURPOSE VARNISH 400ML

Winsor & Newton General Purpose Varnish 400ml is a versatile aerosol spray designed to protect artwork, crafts, and DIY projects from dust, moisture, dirt, and grease. Available in both Matt and High Gloss finishes, this colourless formula provides a durable protective film without altering your original colours.Key Specifications & Features• Surfaces: Ideal for paper, canvas, wood, metal, plastic, and modelling materials.• Application: Packaged in a 400ml spray can for easy, uniform distribution. It prevents pooling or inconsistent textures on uneven or highly textured surfaces.• Removability: The modern formulation is removable using white spirit (mineral spirit) or distilled turpentine, meaning you can clean and re-varnish your projects in the future if dust becomes trapped over time. (Note: Always verify the specific can design, as older “All-Purpose Craft” variants were permanent/non-removable)
