WILLOW CHARCOAL SET OF 20 PIECES

A 20-piece willow charcoal set typically includes natural, uncompressed charcoal sticks made from burnt willow twigs, highly favored by artists for their soft, smooth texture, and rich, velvety black tones.Key Features of a 20-Piece Set• Assorted Diameters: Most standard 20-piece packs offer a varied mix of thin, medium, and thick sticks (typically ranging from 3 mm to 10 mm in diameter) to accommodate both fine detail work and broad, rapid shading.• Easy Erasability: Because willow charcoal is uncompressed and contains no binder, it is highly porous and lightweight. This allows artists to easily wipe away or blend the pigment with a finger, cloth, or a kneaded eraser.• Deep Black Gradients: It layers beautifully from soft grays to deep, velvety blacks, making it perfect for layout sketches, life drawing, and tonal underpaintings.
